The A+ Mobile STEM Lab for Literacy serves as a reliable platform for many computer and web-based educational programs, including:

Reading Plus is the leading national web-based silent reading intervention program that changes the way students read. It is aligned with the NYS common core standards and has helped thousands of elementary, middle and high school students reach grade level proficiency in reading. Reading Plus assesses and differentiates students strengths and weaknesses. It assigns and dynamically adjusts training components to improve visual skills, vocabulary development, silent reading fluency, and comprehension. The motivation to read is encouraged and supported through gaming features and first grade through college level text.

Maxscholar is a comprehensive, multi-sensory, phonics, reading and language-based program. In addition to general education, Maxscholar is specifically designed to help students who have Dyslexia, learning disabilities, ADHD, processing problems, or who are struggling to learn to read. Maxscholar programs are systematic, explicit, and multi-sensory. They are based on the research methods of the Orton-Gillingham approach, the Lindamood-Bell Process©, and other phonics and reading comprehension strategies.

Readorium produces web-based educational software that aims to teach students reading comprehension skills through scientific text. We teach specific reading strategies through original articles and books that automatically adapt to students’ reading levels. We also aim to explain complex scientific concepts in fun, easy-to-grasp ways that instill in students a love of science, its history, and its methods. All our core content is supported by multimedia elements, including images, videos, music, and games, in order to create a multimodal learning environment. Frequent assessments allow us to adapt the text to students’ reading levels, as well as provide real-time feedback to educators. This data is supplemented by downloadable lesson plans that help teachers differentiate instruction to cater to the individual needs of students. Readorium is aligned with the Common Core and NGSS, as well as state standards.
